Gambo speculating that this may provoke the Rangers into an attempt to grab Kubel from the Dbacks... Of course, with the deal with just made which netted DiDi, I'm not sure what the Rangers have that we would value?? Unless of course we throw in DiDi in the grab Profar, or, we somehow find a way to grab Olt??

Nope, shouldn't have to kick in any additional players with Kubel, TEX has no other choice but to overpay. Should have met demands for Upton but now they will have to pay a king's ransom for Kubel, Olt should be the asking price. But the way Towers has been operating either Skaggs or Corbin could be part of a deal with TEX, I'm kind of concerned.

For some reason beyond people's comprehension, Towers seems more than willing to include top pitching in trade talks because he feels that the organization has a never ending supply. He needs to say Kubel for Olt or Profar or no deal. TEX has no other option unless they are going to stick Profar or Andrus in CF but they need a replacement for Hamilton's offense. ARZ has the upper hand in a deal with TEX, make them pay.
