He had 21 last year, but only 6 the year before. He's a guy that will get you 20-25 TD and 10-15 ints a year. But I can honestly say King needs to go and Navarre/McCown need some competition (from somebody other than each other). We need another QB, plain and simple. I'm open to other suggestions..........

My point exactly. I'd rather see McCown than Johnson.

Wow, did you watch Josh at all last year?

He looked pretty bad at times. However, I think he deserves another shot. Look what one more chance did for Drew Brees in San Diego. I'm not saying he'll have a miraculous turn around, but for everything that went on with injured receivers, ect he deserves another chance to at least compete for the job in preseason. Brad Johnson might be a good fit if he's willing to play the mentor role and go in if things get ugly or McCown gets hurt but come on... the guy is like 36 now. He's not going to be as good as he once was.

Not anymore he isn't. Much more likely future numbers from him in a 16 game schedule 10-15 TDs, 20-25 INTs and he'll probably complete around 56-58%. But most likely he will never finish a full season again. I'd rather have McCown than Johnson at this point in both of their careers...4 years ago I would have liked Johnson, not now, he's done.

Why is there absolutely no talk about Hasselbeck? He's the guy the team should target not Johnson or Garcia or Frerotte or Bledsoe(who I'd prefer over the last 3 I mentioned).

I completely agree with you, my point is, to expect or hope that McCown ever turns into anything is pretty hard to believe. I mean, I hope to hell he "gets it" but almost everything I've seen convinces me otherwise. Brad Johnson, even at 36 has to be better than McCown. If not Johnson, we must find a qb better than Josh if we expect to have any chance of making the playoffs.

Hasselbeck will re-sign with the Seahawks. No point in talking about a guy who isn't going to see FA.

Hasselback might as well stamp "Franchise" on his forehead. Plus he turned down a contract averaging 7 mil a year......gone have to pay him a ton.

Right back where we were.... who then????

Maybe Section 11 is right about Navarre. Stranger things have happened.

Green has to be a lot smarter than to go into the season with only McCown and Navarre. That would be crazy after the QB problems and offense we had last year.

Brad Johnson will be the best pickup the Cardinals ever made. No more QB questions.

And you know this how?

I have a hard time believing that Seattle won't franchise him or re-sign him. You don't just let your star QB walk out.

Even if he did get into FA, I don't believe the Cardinals would target him due to the price tag.

Brad Johnson will have no problem getting some guarantees from teams a lot better than us. We better not forget anyone as there will not be a lot of QB's fighting to sign with us.

I'm curious as to why you'd say that: "there will not be a lot of QB's fighting to sign with us."

Most of your posts are a litany of complaints about Josh.

If he's as bad as you say, why wouldn't someone sign with the Cards for a seemingly quaranteed starting poisition?
