I'm still upset with Rackers missing that fieldgoal for the win. The reason I'm upset because I know this guy was and still can be one of the best kickers in the league. Would I want to get another kicker, no way...I like Rackers and think he can still be one of the best. I hope he works on his kicks during the bye with his holder and get back on track. I'm mad at Rackers because I know out of all the kickers in the league, he is one you would say could make a 55 yard kick.

he had one incredible year and the rest of his career he's been average at best and just plain BAD in the clutch. Not sure why you think he can be one of the best again or dependable down the stretch in the face of the reality of the rest of his career.

Trade him to the Falcons for Hall. They need a kicker & we need a CB. I'm sick of my Bengal buddies saying "I told you so". Go to South America & sign a soccer player - he couldn't do any worse in the clutch.

If the guy could just freaking visualize the goal post being 2-3 feet to the right, He would be 90+ percent lifetime.

What about the miss against the Bears last year? That wasn't a 55 yarder. In fact that was a 40 yarder.

That he made from the same exact spot on the opposite side of the field to beat the Seahags. Yeah, that was a gamewinner. Not to mention the 52 yarder earlier in the game to put us in the position to win.

He's not great, but he's not terrible.

And the beat goes on and on and on and ooooooon...

Sorry, but that doesn't count! Even if he had missed the kick, the game's not over & we go to OT. We wil be playing close games all year, so his reliablity or lack thereof will be magnified.

He's not great. And he's not terrible. But, he is not reliable either. And that is the point. When the game is on the line, can you trust your kicker when he misses more clutch kicks than makes?

I just watch the NFL replay and they said he has made 4 game winning kicks. They didn't say what the scores were at the time or how many he has attempted. But my guess is there are more misses then makes.

Can you freaking STOP, yet. I'm not sure people in Tibet know your take on Rackers so I guess there is a point to these unreal amount of threads.

Here's the deal.

Whis isn't pissed at him.

The team is behind him.

He's going nowhere.

Have a cup of SU.

And do we really need 10 threads on the subject? We have a mediocre kicker. It isn't the end of the freaking world. Good LORD bye weeks suck.

A very quick look at Rackers' years in Cincy reveal little chances for him to be clutch or not clutch.

um, if we are doing that draft over. Every one of us should agree that we should have drafted LT.
