Does this mean he won't play when the Browns take on the Cards?
Speaking of druggies, it'll be interesting to see if David Boston returns to size now that the league is onto these deigner drugs.
That whole Balco thing is going to get ugly. Mortenson said the NFL is retesting all the samples they already have through the players in the random testing program. This means all the guys using but not subject to testing are ok. Mortenson said he's been told if something like 10 guys test positive, they will be suspended, if (as they fear will happen) more like 100-200 test positive, nobody will get suspended because "you can't suspend 200 players".
My first thought was there are 200 guys subject to random testing right now?
On the Bronco board seems like once a week there's a thread about how it's mainly the Raiders involved and just more proof of how evil they are. Never mind that the guy who "introduced" Victor Conte to the NFL, Bill Romanowski, played for the Broncos at the time. Never mind that Balco's site says they did analysis for the entire Bronco team in 98. Denver says they had no official affiliation and any players who were connected to Conte did so through Romo not the Broncos. Oddly when I pointed this out this morning from a NY Times article, only 1 Bronco fan responded.
Every team in the NFL is going to have guys caught in this and yeah I suspect Boston will come up, I haven't seen it yet but we're seeing names like Kelli White, Dwain Chambers, Regina Jacobs, Lance Armstrong, Barry Bonds etc there are a LOT of high profile athletes somehow connected to Balco that's obvious.
It's going to be extremely difficult to explain, I'm still trying to figure out the odds that 3 high profile track athletes, White, Jacobs and Chambers, all happen to suffer from Narcolepsy!
