Bautista grounded
The tight left hamstring of right fielder Danny Bautista has landed him on the 15-day disabled list, retroactive to Thursday. The team called up reliever Brady Raggio from Tucson.
"After examining Danny Bautista's hamstring Friday we decided the best thing was to shut Danny down for awhile," Brenly said. "It's one of those things where we could go day-to-day and hope it would get better in four or five days, but we want to make sure when he does come back he's 100 percent and there's no question in his mind that he can do what he wants to do."
Raggio was 2-3 with St. Louis in parts of two seasons and 19 games in 1997-98. He is 1-2 with a 4.68 ERA with Tucson.
