Seems like we got away with it last season the only real injury of note was a knee problem Lee had.

Honeycutt played in some all star game in LA about a month ago and took a really hard fall on his back. they're now saying he's out 2 months with a lumbar stress fracture and according to Daily News Brian Dohn, surgery has not ruled out.

Really tough situation, Honeycutt is UCLA's best freshman and was the odds on favorite to start at the 3 this year. Roll may end up at the 3 if Honeycutt can't go the problem is UCLA has only 3 scholarship guards and Roll is one of the 3. Hopefully Honeycutt is good to go he's sort of a smaller potentially better Austin Daye, terrific prospect.

Strike 2, projected starting Center Drew Gordon sent home from the Under 19 tryouts today with a suspected partially torn patellar tendon in his right knee.

:(

Unbelievable how much bad luck this team has with injuries every year. Morgan is already recovering from knee surgery and Honeycutt is out 2 months with a hairline fracture in his back and now this.

Brutal offseason so far.

Ouch confirmed by UCLA partially torn right patellar tendon. There's one report that they don't think he needs surgery but that's unofficial.

I did that when I was 15 and didn't have surgery until I turned 30, but then I wasn't playing at UCLA with the NBA as a future goal, no idea if Drew will have to miss time or just try to play with it.
