By stop watch standards Boldin doesn't have breakaway speed. By football standards I can remember at least 3 times Boldin has caught the ball and beat up all 11 guys on defense on the way to the endzone

fixed it for you.

Call Fitz a possession receiver all you want, but he still has Q in the most important of catagories. Touchdowns. (24 in 3 years for Fitz, 20 in 4 years for Boldin)

You can't really judge those two with TDs because our coaches for whatever reason didn't game plan to throw the ball to them in the redzone. For awhile under Green neither one of them would even be in the game when the Cards were inside the 10 or 15 yardline.

I absolutely agree and would shake my head when I saw it. How do you take out your two best players on the goaline?

You can't blame coaching completely. Fitz has more TD's in one less year than Boldin. I think that you can make a comparison, especially since both of them were out of the game at the time, not just Boldin.

It really puzzled me when they would pull Fitzgerald who with his size and great hands would seem to be a very lethal weapon in the compressed area of the redzone.

It just killed me to watch them throw a jump ball to Fitz at the 20 to get there then not do that in a corner of the endzone. sheesh.

You have no idea how many times I wanted to see a corner/fade route with Fitz in the end zone. I do remember them doing it once this year though. Is my memory fading me?

It was a rare play that's for sure.

No frickin way, dont make me make a poll. Fitz catches the ball and doesnt do anything else, Q does everything. I love fitz but boldin is the best player on our team.

Absolutely 100% agree

Glad to have Fitz but Q is da Man

'Q' is far better than Fitz

Fitz is still a GREAT WR but if Fitz catches the ball at the twenty yard line...well that is where he will get tackled...Boldin will take it the extra 80 yards to the house if not at least an extra 10. One cannot say Fitz has better hands either, I have seen 'Q' make a lot more difficult catches than Fitz. Route running, 'Q' is better. Fitz has one advantage- he is taller. Both are top flight WRs but just look at the stats- 'Q' will be in the Hall of Fame if he plays another seven years.
