If true, this will be interesting because as I understand it; When hiring a new agent, said agent doesn't get paid until he actually brokers a new deal.

As a political reporter, way back, I hung out in bars waiting on them to get drunk and loose lipped. Next day I'd call to followup, and if they confirmed I had a story through them. If not, I just hopped on the phone, and was almost certain to find someone to give me the same info "off the record" or "not for attribution".

Interesting possibility. For me, not necessarily everyone else, Boldin can correct any damage to his image with his actions on the field and choice of words. On the other hand, firing his agent gives him a fresh start with me. I believe both sides are in a corner now. Boldin has said things which make it difficult for him to just show and play. Management has on one hand implied they would like to negotiate, but on the other they are not negotiating with more than one year left under contract. Add the priorities of A Wilson and K Dansby and the Cardinals do not have much money to offer. Will Boldin play this year without complaining publicly? Would firing his agent impact that possibility? Do the Cardinals believe it is in their best interests to invest that much money at WR either this year or next? I just don't know, but I wouldn't mind seeing Drew go!

Could it be thay Q is learning more from Warner than just hot routes? Perhaps, just perhaps, he's learned from this whole Warner deal, that there are win/win situations & that overall, life is generally better that way. Can you imagine the loyalty Q must feel towards Warner?

There's no "I" in team. The more these guys continue to learn that, the more of a force we will become. A lot of good examples of that on this team. Warner, Berry, Wilson, etc. I don't know what Q is really thinking, but if it's along these lines, next year is going to be a lot of fun.

He should hire Leigh Steinberg. Leigh is on the up and up and has always been a good agent in deals. Heard he just signed Myron Rolle too, who is and FSU guy.

And I can't help but to think a reason for all this is Bolden saw the relationship between Rosenhaus and the team as virtually not exisistant, and he wanted to start new...

If my theory is correct, I am back to being a BIG Q fan, and hap the new guy comes in with a purpose and not an AGENDA...

There has been a rumor floating out there that Anquan Boldin and agent Drew Rosenhaus are parting ways or could part ways, something I have heard about from a couple of fans. All I can say is that Boldin has apparently stuck with Rosenhaus. Now, that’s not to say I haven’t heard that Boldin may indeed make a change, even before it was mentioned by a local Valley sportscaster. It was something floating around the NFL scouting combine in Indianapolis, but that could be for a number of reasons – all the agents also show up in Indy for their own meetings, many aren’t exactly fond of Rosenhaus, and many would have their own agenda for spreading such a rumor.

So I was at Circle K and the guy behind the counter, Manuel, said his cousin is best friends with the guy who does the edging on the lawn at Q personal trainers house. Well, he said he over heard a conversation that Q had no plan on firing his agent, but instead is planning on retiring right after the draft to explore a career on Broadway. It will be a one man show called "Q 2000". This is as reliable as it gets.

Great call! Leigh is by far the most liked, respected and most effective agent in the game. Q would be very wise to make this move!
