Boldin is a tough cookie to crack for us.

He's a number one WR stuck at number two for us forever.

The pride thing is IMO the biggest hurdle to that no matter what Q says, Fitz is probably even a friend but it's a pride and ego thing IMO.

He wants to be the guy and he's never going to be that here and so I think he'll just move on, but I hope I'm wrong.

Boldin is playing behind a guy I think is the greatest receiver I have ever seen. Larry Fitzgerald. I have been watching NFL games since 1945 and I have seen none better. What he still has left to prove is longevity. Can he play as long as a Lynn Swan or Jerry Rice at the level is playing now? I thought Green was crazy when he drafted him so high. It was I who was crazy. I have never seen a guy who catches a football with one hand like it is a baseball or jumps in a crowd like an R.C. Owens. Warner and Fitzgerald will be hard for any team to stop so Warner remains the most important guy to sign. At 9 mil a year for two years he is an absolute steal for our team.

You can't wait too long to make changes to veterans. San Diego got something for Brees and unleashed their young stud. You don't want to experience a decline in a mid-season.

A Tashunca sighting! Concur on the Drew Bees simile. It applies to Boldin here.

Mitch, very good summary. I would slightly disagree only on the order of importance you have assigned.
