I have heard Henry, Bennett, Green, Benson, Williams, Brown, Arrington, Fiason, Barber, Sproles. Why is nobody talking about this guy. He may not be the speed back but he reminds me of Natrone Means or Bam Morris because he is 6'2 225 between the tackles back. Had a great career at Michigan and had a great first two years with Chicago. They release him and its like he has fallen off the face of the earth. Why give up a draft pick or use an early rounder when you can get this guy for a lot less?

I love the A-Train. The two games he started last year when Jones couldnt play, correct me if I am wrong but didnt he have 100+ yard games? Seriously this guy would be better here than Hambrick anyday.

Better than Hambrick and less of a question than Shipp.

this is accurate. although he's better than shipp also. shipp has never had a 1,000 yard season. thinking that shipp is better than a-train is a classic example of the hometown fans overvaluing their players.

Let's sign "A-Train," draft "Pac Man" Jones, bring back Karl "The Truth" Williams, trade for Anthony "Booger" McFarland, and round it all out by signing "He Hate Me." We'd have one hell of a team.

Really though, the team should take a look at Anthony Thomas. I think he's better than Hambrick, and maybe not as good as Shipp, but he has less question marks.

I agree if you take the A-trains history alone you would have to say he is better than Shipp at this point in time and would be an upgrade.

I wouldnt mind seeing him in red. I think he is an underrated RB!

If we're going to bring in a veteran RB, why not get the LJ for Henry deal done?

Henry is probably asking for the moon price wise. I think we could get A-Train pretty cheap.

I can see that Thomas would be an upgrade over what we have now. But, Denny is going to get his type RB. Thomas isn't much different than Shipp or Hambrick. And, there's no guarantee Thomas is any better. Denny is after someone who can run the Cardinals into the Super Bowl. Its not A Thomas.

Wasn't Thomas a 2nd round pick? I wonder what his draft grade was compared to the annointed future superstars Arrington and Faison? I think if he can be had cheap that he'd be more of a known quantity than any back that is chosen after round 1. Also, hasn't durability been a question mark with him?

Agreed and I am thinking he might come at a reasonable price
