Antrel Rolle finalizing deal with Giants

The South Florida Sun-Sentinel confirms that free agent FS Antrel Rolle is "in the process of finalizing a deal with the Giants."
The Giants look to be in the process of making Rolle one of the NFL's top paid safeties with a contract that may approach $8 million a year over five to six seasons. The Dolphins apparently never got serious about signing him.

Docket should actually be happy. It was rumored that the heavy negotiations with Dockett wouldn't start until next year if they were able to sign Rolle and Dansby back. If both got away Dockett would become their priority allegedly.

I would put Dockett ahead of Dansb y and Rolle for impact on defense, so I would be fine with that, but we now need 2 more starters. How they recover will be interesting

Hah wow. Antrelle benefitted from bein the only younger DB in FA. Man Cards have some work to do...I wouldnt mind taking Myron Rolle to replace him, i think hes going to be a good player. Had a good combine and the knocks people have on him are a joke, Cards can hopefully get him in a middle round? hah
