Rolla had a few huge hits yesterday. Let the man grow into the position. We have more glaring weaknesses such as Dansby disappearing for quarters on end.

Didn't I see Rolle in on an offensive play? If that's the case, I think the coaches are probably pretty pleased with his performance thus far. You don't put a defensive player on offense if they're not doing thier primary job right.

I was thinking the exact same thing. If he was struggling at grasping what he was supposed to do on defense, they wouldn't have given the responsibility of learning plays on offense.

Yep, it was a WR screen that he sold very well.

Hell, I'm more pissed at Rod Hood today than Antrelle. The old Hood who I didn't want came to play today. P.I. calls aside, I'm just about ready to have DRC take his job.

DRC should replace Green in my opinion. I didn't think Hood did anything wrong on the off setting PI call in the first quarter. I thought it was excellent coverage. The blown coverage on the TD that was called back was AW's fault. He admitted it on the radio yesterday. I think too many people are quick to judge before finding out the truth.

Aside from a few glaring tackling issues I think Rolle is doing a good job in his role as FS and when AW is moving into the box the only safety value deep and in the middle of the field.

We are one of only 8 teams without a single pass play over 40 yards. 11th in the league with only 6 pass plays of over 20 or more yards. He is doing a great job in that regard.

I think the issues with our pass D is inconsistent pass rush, and the short to mid range pass D, neither of which is Rolles responsabilities. They need to blitz Okeafer more because they are asking him to be in coverage way to often, and in his place let Dansby do what he does best which is his coverage ability. I think our short and mid range pass D would be defended better and have more INT's if Dansby was asked to cover more and Okeafer was asked to blitz more, I think we would get more coverage sacks that way as well. That and putting more speed in our nickel package by inserting DRC in Fransisco's place. That big nickel package does nothing for us.

I can't agree with this more. Francisco was consistently late getting to the middle of the field, allowing cooley and others to get open.

Very good points Joe. I agree completely. I would also like to see what Green can do as the nickel back. Maybe he can be as effective as Rolle in that situation.

Why don't we send AW more at the QB. Over the past 3 games every time he comes up to the line something positive happens on D. I would love to see a game where we send him all day.

I saw AW blow a play or two today. Is he a bust as well? Rolle has been ok. Not great, but ok. I think it is a little soon to judge his FS season. Hell, he was better than Holt before he even set foot on the field.

This way I call him "CHARMIN" He is so squeezable SOFT...!!!
