I have a feeling, during the course of this season, this thread will get bumped more than Lisa Lampinelli at a Martin Luther King march. :p

It is clear to me that Whisenhunt doesn't feel any sense of urgency. Let's see how he handles the boos, blackouts and empty seats. Whisenhunt thinks he is untouchable; I hope that he is wrong

...or maybe he's trying to get himself fired :D

He should not be fired, but he should be FORCED to bring in a legitimate offensive coordinator for next season.

Could not disagree more. If the Cardinals fail to wrap up a gift wrapped division for the second straight year he should not be brought back in 2012.

If this season is 8/8 it will be a good year. I think perhaps 6/8 will be on the mark. I said this before Beanie went down. Things have now changed and all bets are off.

Our GM should have been fired years ago. 2012 will be Whiz last chance to improve this team and win more than you lose. If he only wins 3-4 games this year I would send him packing. He made what I thought were some really bad calls on offense today. He can and does override our OC.

Whiz doesn't get fired in 2011.. 2012 will have him on a serious hot seat if this season goes down the tubes.

Someone should be fired.

No one will be other than possibly an AC.

This thread is stup[d. Three games into the season and "you" want to fire the HC? Lame.

Not fired, not now.
But if we finish the season 4-12 or 5-11 I seriously do not want him back next season if no changes or upgrades are made during the course of this season. If he doesn't even try to make an effort to improve the team in some way.

Whis isn't getting fired after this season. No chance that happens. We'll probably scapegoat another assistant and turn over 2/5 or more of our offensive line.

I think that if Whis doesn't turn things around he'll be tossed in-season in 2012. This team has quit each other, but not on Whis yet. But the media is starting to get fiesty, and we went 1-2 in a soft portion of our schedule. What's stopping a 4-6 game losing streak a this point?

Tony Dungy is lightyears ahead of Whiz in term's of coaching prowess, but I doubt he would want to work with Rod Graves. This team needs a defensive minded coach, offensive coaches usually don't create a well-balanced team. If you were to look at the top 10 teams in the league, 80% of those coaches were, at one point or another, a defensive coach to some degree.

Agreed, though the interior of the OL is playing as well as it ever has under Whisenhunt.

IMO Whisenhunt shouldn't be the only fall guy. We need a Ted Thompson type to manage the football program here. Whisenhunt just isn't the type of coach that can pick players, and Rod Graves has never shown to be very good at it either.
