I'm planning on doing some tailgating for the first time this season (have had season tix for 3 years) and was just wondering if any of you tailgating veterans had any tips/advice on the whole tailgating experience... ie: proper tailgating etiquette, what type of equipment/items I should use, best type of setup for tailgating, etc... Thanks in advance for the help! :)

Wait till October! Get there early. Bring a cold dry white wine and invite me.

Offer to buy beer for everyone on ASFN and you will be the one who dictates the 'tailgating etiquette'...
Find a good group, share munchies and grills, bring a generator to watch the early games, bring an "easy-up" for shade and don't make it a contest to see how many (whatever your preference) you can drink BEFORE the game...and just have a good time...and LEAVE IN TIME TO BE IN YOUR SEAT FOR THE NATIONAL ANTHEM!

Meat, Bread, Sauce, Beer.

That is all you need to know.

I like your agenda SKKORP. But, follow the white with some good red, to go with the food you either cook or bring. Then, go to the game, drink water and enjoy some winning Cardinal football!!

actually, proper ediquette, IMO, is to NOT be in your seat for the Nat'l Anthem. You should stand for that.

Bring lots of gorgeous, scantilly clad women who know how to have a good time. You'll be so popular that everyone else will bring anything you need, ie; food, drink, shade, seating, big screen, sattelite, generator and Cardinal gear.

We're indoors now so we don't need the 32 gallons of water per game we needed at SDS.

Borrowing a tip from a very wealthy Connecticut doctor friend of mine who used to tailgate from a stretch limo at Giant games (complete with white table cloths, stem-wear & main courses like "chicken ouzo") -

"Don't be afraid to fire your designated wine steward if he/she doesn't measure up.
