Read a story about USC verballed PG Venoy Overton changing his mind and signing an LOI with UW. He said USC was going to be too deep at PG and with Dentmon struggling at UW and Isiah Thomas(incoming recruit) failing to qualify(going to prepschool) he figured he would play right away at UW.
The weird thing is that according to this story, UW has 4 incoming recruits and will have 15 scholarship players, 2 over the limit. Overton is not qualified yet. The assumption is UW is expecting transfers or someone like Hawes to jump to the NBA I guess?
Hawes seems logical, I'd like to see him stay but realize he might not, but I can't for the life of me figure out where Romar expects to get another scholarship from, is Artem Wallace transferring wouldnt' make sense, if Hawes leaves, Wallace gains PT so why leave?
