Uecker was a great announcer, great talkshow guest and great public speaker, but more importantly, he was beloved by just about everybody.

I would encourage everyone to remember him by going to YouTube and looking up one of his Tonight Show appearances or his Baseball Hall of Fame speech. Just be prepared to laugh.

Bob was one of the all time great baseball figures. Genuinely funny man, and a pretty good baseball analyst on top of that. And not a bad actor for an ex-jock either! RIP... he finally made it to the front row.

Going to Brewers spring training there what's seemed to be more excitement to see Bob in the booth than the team in the field.

Definitely a looming presence that will be missed

RIP He was great on the field and even better in interviews, TV commercials, movies, etc. Just a fun/funny guy.

What was the name of that song he use to blurt out and sing a jingle???

Oh, yeah, "Wabash Cannonball". I think. He was the announcer, and, seems like, his partner was Pee Wee Reese. Not sure, but think it was.
