My son and I along with my grandson will be there. I'm assuming there will still be the famous tailgate party.

I'm trying to get a hold of "Elvis' to see if he can hook me up with overnight accomodations.

Who's all going?

I'll be there, haven't bought my ticket yet though. It's pretty easy to get one ticket for under face value for that game.

I'll be staying at the Ballpark Hilton for one night.

I will be there. I am not like some who will not go because they are not winning. I will show my loyalty to the Cardinals win or lose. I just don't understand those who whine about the team and want them to lose to get a better draft pick.

There is always a decent turn out for the Cards in St Louis, win or lose. I doubt people choose not to go because they aren't winning but rather because of time and money, it isn't always easy (or cheap) to make road games.

My bad, I thought this was about this weekend's game.

Well there are a lot of people who do not want to go to a Cardinals HOME game and be harassed by tens of thousands of fans of the other team. I don't blame them at all. It is not an enjoyable experience even if the Cards win you have to put up with the BS for half the game at least.

And that is what losing gets you. Nothing like paying $1500 for season tickets to go to Steelers, Cowboys, or 4and9ers home away from home games.

People can bitch about 6-17 all they want. It's not like there is another NFL team with a better product a mile or two away they can go watch.

Exactly. That long walk out of the stadium after a home loss is horrible. Paying for the experience is even worse.

I'm sorry but that is a lame excuse to not attend the game. How do you think the players feel? If you can dish it out, you can take whatever is thrown your way. If you can't, get out of the kitchen. I hope people are not going to the games because they can't handle what other fans are dishing out. Being a fan, you will experience some low times but when they start winning again, you will experience a great high and have the satisfaction that you supported this team when they were down. Go Cardinals!

I would really hope people are deciding not to go to the games because they can't handle what other fans are dishing out. The players aren't paying money to be entertained. Watching bad football is not entertaining.

This is the biggest crock of **** I've ever read on ASFN. Obviously someone who has only been a fan for a couple of weeks.

I met you at the tailgate 2 years ago. The wife and I will be there again this year. This a great time and I'll go out on a limb and say it's the best cardinal tailgate party outside of Az.

Although I will say we took over a bar in carolina the year we whooped them in the playoffs. The bar was full of Cards fans, and we just happened to run across it. Except when Cbus blew his cigar smoke in the waitress's face (accidently of course) so we had to finish our cigars outside.

We are up for it, wife and I fly in Friday night, figured we see some sights on Saturday, gotta find a sport bar to watch the OSU-Mich ST game with Cbus, but after that we're available. Fiasco used to throw a little get together on Saturday night anybody heard from him?

Last year a few of us (OKCARDZONA and others) met at Hooters in Downtown St. Louis on Saturday night.

We are getting in early Sat. morning. There's a great sports bar right across the street from the stadium(can't remember the name). Last time we were there, we sat and talked to Antrell Rolle's parents for awhile.

Lumiere casino right across from the stadium has a sports bar in it.

BUMP!

What hotel is everybody staying? I haven't heard from Elvis so it looks like I'll be booking us somewhere soon. WHo is having the tailgate party this year on Biddle cause we will be there!

Can we plan to get something going at Hooter's again around 7 or 8 o'clock?

Beat the 9er's and it will make the trip to St Louis a tad more interesting.
