It was quite the day for Notre Dame football stars Jeremiyah Love and Christian Gray, as they were both honored by St. Louis on 314 Day.

While Love was the only one present for the award, Gray’s flight wasn’t able to be changed, the current Irish players were still honored by Mayor Tishaura Jones. The fact that they have both represented St. Louis to a high level was the reason for being honored, and they most likely won’t stop there.

Both of their next stops will be in the NFL, as Love and Gray will be draft eligible after this season. Love has teased that he will be moving on to the next level after this season, and there is potential for Gray to do the same.

Regardless of what happens after this coming year, they each have represented St. Louis to a high degree, hence why they were given this honor by the Mayor. Congratulations to both of them for getting this designation.

As we celebrate what’s great about St. Louis this 314 Day, Jeremiyah Love (CBC) and the mother of Christian Gray (De Smet) joined our morning meeting, where we thanked them for representing St. Louis so well at @NDFootball. Thank you, Jeremiyah and Christian, for making us proud! pic.twitter.com/yMfTiMCNt6
