I kind of have a feeling that a deal is done already, and it's probably the Chicago one.

From everything I've read it's really quiet at the front office like something's been agreed to and they're waiting to announce it.

P.s. I really hope that Barbosa to NYK rumor is absolute horse turd.

Could be. It seems like things have quieted down a bit, but the ASG is coming up, so things will pick up again next week. I've read both Memphis and Portland seem to think they're out of the Amare sweepstakes.

I never though anything would be done before the ASG. After Amare and Shaq represent Phoenix, we'll see what happens.

The logical thing to do would be to sit tight until the ASG is out of town. I am pretty sure Amare is as good as gone and that a deal is indeed done. No idea what team it will be with though.

Its a possibility that if there is a deal its likely nearly complete. The last thing the Suns want to do is let that rumor get out during All-Star weekend, especailly with Amare starting.

I don't think there is a deal for one reason. Kerr/Sarver would want to get the best deal in return. The closer you wait to the deadline the more desperate teams become. It could escalate a bidding war for a player or entice someone to sweeten the pot.

That would be like trying to sell something on ebay and taking the first crappy bid that comes along.

I guess there could be some sweet deal that is too good to turn down but somehow I doubt it.

Don't care if they trade Stat he is NEVER going to be a superstar as long as Kerr doesn't get bent over in the deal just to save money, it needs to be a decision based on making the team better. I think players dislike Amare and his me attitude and it may be addition by subtraction that the team starts to come together.
