Suns are my Kryptonite!
Sorry if this is old news, but NBATV has a blurb on their scrolling news saying Amare will opt out of his contract if he doesn't receive an offer from the Suns by July 1.
One of the ESPN guys on the radio just came out and said Amar'e is gone, and that's why Kerr stepped down
This is called speculation. Kerr was even less of an Amare fan than Sarver.
Sarver has taken over all decision making on player personnel.
Considering Kerr and Stat's agent have been meeting w/ each other for months and yet nothing has manifested tells me Kerr isn't really making serious offers. JMHO
It's not Kerr's efforts, but $arver's willingness to pay Amare. I'm sure efforts were made, but Amare has been steadfast demanding a max deal and clearly the Suns have been hesitant to give him one. Not much else can be done until free agency starts and Amare's market value is determined.

Everybodyy is looking at the same facts. Amae's knee is a timebomb and no one wanst to be holding a long term contract from him when it blows.
The problem is that some teams are so bad that they are willing to take the risk.
