The "Storm collection" are just fashion jerseys and won't be worn by the team. I don't think they look that good anyways, I like what we currently have.

Our current Alt jerseys are Black.

Nope. Current alt jerseys are the old Cardinal Red jerseys. However, they're not actually listed in the NFL Style Guide...only the current Red and White ones are.

Didn't we have a thread about these "Storm" fashion jerseys already? or am I hallucinating?

There was a thread a few months back. All the teams in the NFL (all 32) have a gray version of jersey in the "Storm" collection, along with hats and jackets.

You are contradicting yourself - you give them a compliment, then say you don't want them to wear them. Make up your mind.

It sucks because that word has become a common word for something that sucks. Go to any School any place where kids are hanging out and that term is very common. Now I have a couple friends that are gay, I find my self using it all the time for things that are not to my liking I caught myself and explained it's just a habit and actually felt sorry for using it at the time. I've screwed up a few times in the past week, first calling something that I disliked gay while I was hanging out and having some beers with a friend who had a gay Cousin visiting him over, he got mad enough he got out and left the room. Now at work there is a guy who sits directly behind me who is gay and I cant quit using the term, I'm not trying to disrespect or be derogotary, it's just a word people use for something that sucks, he's never said anything about but in all honesty, I really am trying to stop using it. I dont want to offend anyone.

One thing that I feel people are getting way to PC, over words like the 7 dirty words. I mean the context is really getting lost, Boldin can drop a ball thrown to him and I might say the word that is used that is in the same neighberhood as crap and that is deemed inappropriate, but I have heard people in all honesty say someone very racist remarks about people or their culture, and see it as totaly OK, because no Foul language was used, and thats something I completely disagree against. I'm not sure what the best solution to the problem would be. I'm sure schwalbhimself was not trying to offend anyone, the way he used the word.

That is why I posted what I did. Trying to start the trend that calling something gay is a compliment....... :D

I don't mind the jerseys, but I think the grey would clash with the helmets, even with the facemasks.
