I am considering getting tix next year. I am a fan, and until most of the networks offer all of the games in HD, I will want to go to the games live.

Thats my hope. abomb and D-Dogg have some sweet tix, and if I could score some of those, I would be all for it.

not sure what my friends want to do, but i'm all for keeping tickets in the same price level and hopefully moving up in the section to better seats - i enjoy going to football games

We all have to keep our tickets for next year! This is just the regular Monday hangover from another heartbreaker. We will all be over it by Wednesday.

But when I do go to our home games, I definitely don't want to put up with any crap from the opposing teams' bandwagon fans filling up half our stadium! Even if we lose, I love seeing that sea of fans wearing Cardinal red!

If the Cards continue to play putrid football one week and blow a game the next by shooting themselves in the foot you won't see that sea any more.

More room for tailgating and cheap seats for our friends who come to root for the other team.

BTW: I wasn't paying attention yesterday after the first quarter so did anyone notice if and when the announcers mentioned the Cardinals shooting themselves in the foot?

I hoping to upgrade my seats next year.

yeah, me too. From section 435 to my couch. That'd be a great upgrade, and save me a ton of cash too. They've lost this season ticket holder.

F'n cardinals :bang:

I fell for it too Vince. This was my first year due to air-conditioning. By all means I'm not a "new fan", but one who finally broke down and bought season tickets. We've had a good time going to the few games we attended, but when its free on tv, and the franchise is the worst run franchise in all sports...it's hard to justify throwing my hard earned money down the toilet.

We'll see how it all comes down, and re-evaluate after this season...but I gotta tell ya...it sure ain't looking good right now.

That may be so, but will those be to opposing teams' fans or to real Cardinal fans?

I for one, regardless of all the heartbreak, will be in my seat again next year!

I think the majority of Cards fans are going to hold on at least one more year.

There is no way I ever let my tickets go. As dreamcast said, my seats are freaking awesome. Even for bad football, they are a steal.

Are you on the waiting list? Because the f-stick in front of us (not the rocker guy, but the "Invisible Man" who is NEVER there) always sells his to other fans. He's been there for preseason and SF, but that's it. And he's a Raider fan first, Cards fan second. He'll be gone soon and it would be awesome for you to take his seats (actually, you'd take mine since I'd try to move into his.) ;)

I got four tickets this year, the $25.00 ones, and at this point I'll do a flexi-pass if they make that available- which is a possibility because I doubt the stadium will sell out again.

I won't spend money on season tickets again unless we finish 7-9, which won't happen.

Once you add all the taxes to the tickets, I could have gone on a cruise.

Not nearly as exciting, and you are done in a few days when you have 16 weeks of Hell Death March with the Cardinals.

Cards >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Cruise

Well if everyone that posted on the poll is a ticket holder (probably not) it doesn't look like it will

I wonder if that could be a sticky for a week?

No season ticket holder on that thread said they were giving up their tickets. They were just guessing at to whether it's sold out or not. I can only remember like two people saying they are not coming back next year.

The predictions for ticket sales were just as dire at this point last year. Everyone said it would be half full at best. Those predictions were completely wrong and I think these will be wrong too.

Evreryone who posted on the poll is bitter. We are pained and hurt and polls right now are at their most un-scientific on the un-scientific spectrum.

That poll isn't even asking "Are you buying season tickets again?" That's a completely different question and I think the results would probably flip.
