WOW!! It's no wonder Brady became so great under Weis's tutelage. With the same offense, Notre Dame was lucky to score 14 pts/game last year. They put up 35 on the road against a ranked team in a HALF. I'm impressed. He's making Quinn look like a 1st round pick.

Quinn has the talent, ND has quite a bit of talent at all positions offensively, they should be quite good, although the secondary still leaves quite a bit to be desired. Weiss as usual does an excellent job of accentuating his strengths and his opponents weaknesses.

It's only one game but what a difference a year makes. One problem for Notre Dame this year is their schedule. One word describes it, "Wow."

You also have to give willingham credit. Those are his recruits who are just coming into their own. I thought they had a chance last year when they beat Tennessee and the kid walker looks pretty slick.

Of course now you have to question how impressive than victory over Pitt really was since the Panthers lost to Ohio last night. The Panthers scored 10 points, and 7 of them came on in the opening kickoff return for a touchdown.

I guess we'll see how good Notre Dame is in a couple hours.

Today is going to be a fantastic day for college football. I wish the Texas/Ohio State game was on around 12:30 p.m.. That would give me a nonstop day of great college football action.

Notre Dame vs. Michigan
California vs. Washington
South Carolina vs. Georgia
Texas vs. Ohio State
LSU vs. ASU

I'm sitting watching it with my cousin (ND alum ) and he is going crazy about Charlie Weis. He thinks they are going to beat USC...

His crazy enthusiasm non withstanding,Charlie Weis was the right choice and he is doing wonder with some of Willingham's recruits. It will only get better as he gets his own players....

Wow.

I hate ND, but they're making a great comeback vs. Mich. St. right now.

Trailed 38-17 with only 5 min left in the 3rd.

It's now tied at 38...looks like OT.

:thud:

Good game. State was lucky to pull it out. They started playing to protect the lead and it almost cost them.
