I'm not taking a stance. However, as a Suns fan, I can't help but think Mat Ishbia sees the NBA differently than we do.

He sees solutions where we see mostly barriers.

The thought occurred to me, as I glanced at his other business doings, he may be playing chess while we are playing checkers.

Maybe it's possible to spend your way to prosperity and success if one knows what they are doing?

Guys like him think 10 steps ahead. While we are all focused on this run? For all we know he already is thinking about what happens if this doesn’t work.

I heard Mark Cuban once say that all you need to do is be right one time. It’s that mentality that failure is OK. You move onto the next thing. It’s what sets these guys apart.

I don't see it that way but I sure hope you guys are right about it.

I think that's something most professional athletes have to do. I have no doubt that gets frequently mistaken as being not caring. Hell, people on this very forum think that Book doesn't care about winning.

We better hope so because his experiment is failing and his arrogant comments about the roster are sure causing some schadenfreude among other franchises.

I would think that's a stance but okay. If I understood you correctly, you believe he's showing the ability to maneuver beyond the restictions placed on us by the CBA and that it's a good thing? If so, you could be right; and I certainly hope so.

Personally, the Suns situation is so messed up, I've taken a wait and see mode.

However, I realize there are other ways to get things done than the traditional way.

I'm simply looking at the possibility Mat Ishbia may see the Suns window of opportunity differently than we as fans or other NBA owners do. He may see opportunity where we see failure.

As an example, Mark Cuban had different ideas as well when he first became an NBA owner. Of course, the rules have changed, but it's still possible to be innovative.

I can't see it the same way but I like the fact you are trying to find the positives in our situation.

See Duane Rankin talk about the Suns rebounding woes at about the 5:20 mark of the video.

This was a NOW trade for the Suns. Perhaps another trade may happen.

Twitter is abuzz with the idea we are trading Allen for picks and to get closer to the apron, but it appears to all have been started by one of the "insiders" who is never ever right.

And I was reading the Suns were going to trade Allen for picks so they can complete the Butler trade…

There are a couple of trades in the works.. just be ready for another Germ drop.

Please be careful and exclude Dunn and the 2031 first round pick if possible. There is a lot of kickback on the forum to these ideas.

If you have to include one for BUTTER, please get lots of 2nd round picks included, even if they don't convey.

For some reason, Suns fans have a huge appetite for those.

Okogie had some fun moments, for a month or so in 2023 he looked like an all-star. He always hustled, he played good D... usually, he hardly ever could shoot and he had a bit of a selfish streak, especially if he made a shot or 2.

With his terrible offense, you can't really trust him to be a heavy rotation guy, but he's also better than most 9-12 guys in the league.

My two cents, Charlotte tanking all ready ugh. Richards will help. Someone has two spell Durant when he is resting. I agree Oso could be the one since Bol Bol is a no no
