...berated, attacked verbally, and made ashamed of living in Arizona and rooting for the Wrong team. Their children should be made to think that their parents have brought them up wrong. Make the Child ashamed of being a Giants fan!

That is my goal.

Get the "f" out of here if you don't love the Arizona Cardinals!!!!!!!

I don't care about the moral outrage, it is a football game!!!

This is the Church of Football and everything goes!

This is ASFN and everything is not ok but I share your passion. Your post has been edited.

I know this will come off as callous and evil.

But....

The children in Arizona that are in football families. They show up constantly with their Dads rooting for the wrong team.

That is the future, we turn the kid into being a Cards fan.

Imho it ain't about winning. It is about loyalty. I will be a Cardinals fan fovever.

Part of me doesn't want them.

I can understand your feelings. They are a bit harsh, but none the less I understand.
In the end , only one thing will win the fans over.....winning. Looking at the situation from here in Chicago, it seems the Arizona fan base is small for 2 reasons.
1. Arizona didn't have a team until the Cards arrived and they have been (until these last 2 years) the WORST run franchise in ALL of sports. Thats not an exaduration. I am a lifelong fan an that is my opinion. It will take a year or 2 of winning to get a significant amount of butts in the seats. The new stadium will help, but only for the first year.
2.It seems many of the people that live in the area are there because they have re-located and have allegence to their home town from which they came. The Cards have given them no reason to switch.

Win. Thats what it will take. It's funny, but here in Chicago I've noticed many Steeler gear showing up around here.
Win, and petty soon the word will spread thru out the area.
Win, and pretty soon the kids Christmas list will include a Larry Fitzgerald jersey!

What would REALLY reduce the number of fans from other teams attending games is, to see their team have a beatdown applied to them by the Cards.

Take it easy on the kids KOC. Seriously.

What if they're wearing a blue "Fitzgerald" jersey, like I'll be wearing when I'm in Phx for the game against the JETS?

Yeah, be careful...the Blue that the Giants use is the EXACT same shade of Blue (in Pantone terms) that the Cardinals use in the Flag logo and in the stripes on the White jerseys.

They're only two teams out of three (the other being the Montreal Canadiens) in the four major leagues who wear that shade of Blue.

(Things that only I care about)

Giants fans are the nicest of all visiting teams' fans. Having said that, I still harangue them.

I don't really pick on the little kids.

In fact I had to tell Chris Sanders to stop swearing last home game, because I was afraid the children could hear him.

Yup.

Just show up a little before the game and hang out near where people are streaming toward one of the stadium entrances and ask if anyone has any tickets. Usually you can find an average fan looking to unload a couple of tix without looking to make a bundle of off them. If all else fails, there are tix available at the ticket window, or from the regular scalpers.
