The good old days, 1995/1996 or so...wow, hard to believe it has been so long!

Remember the absolute robbery that was AOL? Dial Up internet by the minute!

I was MrY back then, Skkorp loved that I came over for games at SDS but gave me the dickens because I played golf.

I remember having a live chat with LJ Shelton once and he raved about his boy Charlie Batch who he said was going to tear up the league. The Cards would be forever sorry they didn't draft him...lol.

Sure but wasn't that everybody until AOL started offering unlimited access for 20 bucks a month? What a game changer. No more downloading for offline reading or typing your responses offline and uploading them. You could page through Cards Corner the KTAR/Sun Devils site and all the other great AOL message boards while still online.

I mostly lurked but would come out of the woodwork whenever there was a push for a new stadium or if there was new technology of note (DBS, Realplayer/Tivo etc.) I think I used AzSRRinCal or DIVXRIPOFF most of the time when I did bother to post. As a lurker, most of the people here (such as you Zeno) are far more familiar to me than I am to them.
