A person with knowledge of the situation says Dallas Mavericks forward Chandler Parsons will have arthroscopic surgery for a meniscus tear in his right knee but might not be finished for the season. The team says Tuesday that Parsons will not make the upcoming four-game road trip with a right knee injury, and coach Rick Carlisle declined to discuss the specifics.
