Please tell me what site, is it worth it, how much, and what are some of the things it covers that makes you think it is a good thing or bad thing.

I had ESPN insider for a while, but realized all they would do(in terms of rumors atleast) was rely on local writers for info, instead of actually relying on their own writers. Gammons and Pasquerelli(if you like football and baseball) had some interesting articles every once in a while, but honestly it wasnt worth it to me.

Most the rumors they talk about come out eventually anyway, or can be found on message boards. So I would just stick with Hoopshype, this board, and the ESPN message board for suns info.

People act like insider is evil because they charge money and is not worth it but they constantly want to read any related insider info especially if the Suns are in it. I had insider before but stopped getting it because people were ripping off their articles and posting them but I'm considering getting it again. One main thing I liked besides Chad Fords articles was their media links. I'm wondering if they still have that feature because if they do I will likely resign up. I think they charge $60 for a two year subscription (or $40 for one year) which to me is great value.

I used to have ESPN Insider. It’s only like $40/yr and you also get their magazine too. Their football analysis was awesome. Each week they would break down all the matchups by position for every game. If you’re looking for rumors though, it’s pretty useless.

I also used some of their fantasy league tools. I probably could have found the same info somewhere else though.

Oh yeah, as pokerface mentioned, the media links were very cool. I liked to read what opposing cities had to say about our teams. It was really fun to read back when the Suns were tearing up the league 2 years ago.

I subscribe to ESPN Insider. The fantasy football analysis is great, and the magazine and NBA articles are worth the $4.95/month to me.

ESPN Insider is worth it if you follow more than one sport. The college sports in particular have good insider information. I love going through the Scout, Inc., articles.

yeah, the scouts Inc. were decent. I noticed their NFL and college stuff was much more in depth than their BBall coverage.

ESPN the Magazine does a fundraiser program for schools. My music dept did it last year, but once you are registered, you can send in more orders whenever. You can get a year subscription, including insider, for $20. If you already have a subscription, your payment will extend it for an additional year.

If I get enough interest from the board, I will send in another order. PM me if you are interested. I will also post this in the FOR SALE forum.

Here is the link, so you know it is legit. It did take 2-3 months to process before the magazines came in. I got a subscription myself and now have insider, so I know it works.

For the NBA, just read http://www.hoopshype.com Rumors section daily. They take the stories from all the local papers, just like Insider does. Also check out http://www.truehoop.com.

I haven't been here in a few days, but just noticed you changed your avatar... Nice.

As far as "insider", I only subscribe to Jim Rome Podcasts... I like his interviews.
