I am concerned because of his history of injuries and the durability issues that dropped him from the top 15 to #31 overall on draft day. To have no concern at all would be delusional. Hopefully he heals and has a productive season. But the history of being nicked up during his college career and starting off with the ankle sprain in his very first training camp practice is certainly not a positive.
Well then call me delisional. Missed 3 games in 3 years, the guy balls when he has to ball. Who cares what the injury report says Monday through Saturday, what happened on Sunday?
Last nights thing was already blown out of proportion, its not even going to keep him out of practice today, Wiz just said to the media he is practicing.
I recall reading reports that he was not as effective his junior year because of the toe injury. That and other nicks during his career obviously concerned some teams because he's an outstanding top-10 talent when healthy IMO, yet he fell all the way to the Cardinals at #31.
124 yards per game as a Junior.
120 yards per game as a Senior.
Technically you are right he was less ineffective.
And Wells fell because the teams that wanted a RB (Colts and Broncos) wanted one that could catch which fits their system better and Wells cant catch or pass block.
He was the most one dimensional of the 1st round running backs.
Awesome. He fits perfectly into our pass-happy offense!! Oh crap... wait....
I worded it wrong actually, didnt mean to say he cant, just that no one knows becuase he was never asked to.
Good to know that it is so minor he is still practicing...VERY good to know!
