McCown stands in the pocket for a 4 count doesnt see Fitz open on the left side, then has to run away from the rush, then decides to chunk it up for grabs before he gets hit. Result another INT. Not his fault again I suppose!

With an Oline that just plain blows, a running game thats so horrid its borderline comical, TEs that are useless, the inability to pickup the blitz

Just tell me who is the QB that could thrive under those circumstances

We have no running game and our defense gives up too many big plays.... we suck

What would you have done on a 4th down... down by 21 with just over two min. to go?
Me? I'd like to say that me, personally, I'd throw a better pass. But I don't think I could. An NFL QB could, though.

Isn't there a difference between an INT being McCown's fault and the entire loss being his fault?

OK I admit that the entire loss is not his fault just a big portion of it.

You gotta love the McCown excuse-o-matic. He and everyone else on the offense not named Anquan or Larry are awful.

Our defense was atrocious today as well but that seems to happen every road game.

Don't you know? Warner, Navarre... 31 other starters and at least 62 backups? It's Josh's fault... :D

Pretty much

My favorite play was in the 2nd qtr when we had them on 3rd and 11, we commit defensive holding yet they still get a 20 yard play out of it anyways. Of course cardcrazy will blame that on Josh also

Yeah because runnin the ball and stopping the run are outdated stats, right?
Didn't you say that at the beginning of the year?

Look Josh didn't have a great game.

I know that everyone knows that.

But unless someone has access to some great new force field technology it just won't make any differnce who the QB is.

This arguing about it is frankly stupid.

You could put Joe Montana in there in his prime and we'd lose this game.

We can't run the ball and our coaches / players can't stop a decent running team to save their lives.

That pretty much sums it up

Doesn't change the fact that we need a new quarterback, IMO.

EDIT: Although like I said, Josh had a very good first half. But, we rarely (if ever?) see a complete game out of him--even when the pass protection is there most of the time.

I don't see real NFL QBs like Donovan McNabb, Tom Brady, and Jake Delhomme having problems putting up points without a running game.

Anyone who doesn't see that QB is part of this team's offensive problems is blind.

Yeah I agree next year but we need a lot more than just that which is why they want to make sure on Josh because to truely upgrade the position that just leaves less room to fix the line.

I agree already but this team has so many problems just a QB isn't going to make us suddenly good.

Farve can't win without a run game.

Bledsoe has looked worse than Josh did today without a run game.

BTW I'm not blind, so there.

Josh McCown will never lead this team or any other to the playoffs. We all agree that our O-line has major problems. But I expect more out of my QB than any other player on the Offense. He handles the ball on very play, he makes decisions based on defenses, he must be accurate in his passing, and he must know when to take a sack and not throw an ill advised pass. Josh threw some good passes today, but he also threw a lot of bad passes. Im tired of losing! Im also tired of McCown! Warner should start the next game!

Nice logic. You're tired of losing so we'll go to the guy who is 0-3 as a starter here (not picking on Warner, I'm just saying this beyond the QB and the start the backup crap doesn't always work out ... remember how shaun king saved us last year)?
