Their stadium wouldnt get approved for a Super Bowl. Weather first and foremast and even after it’s upgraded several years back it’s not the modern stadium the NFL wants to hold that event.

Yeah, the Super Bowl in MN was a disaster for outside the game activities and the NFL was not pleased (the stadium and game itself was fine but the NFL banks on the activities surrounding the game). I was told by one of the NFL folks cold weather Super Bowls may not happen again for a long time if ever-- besides that, not only does Green Bay not have the stadium (as you mentioned) for a Super Bowl they don't have the surrounding infrastructure in place to handle it (Minneapolis/St Paul barely did).

yeah the super bowl bid is more about the metro area and what they will do to accommodate. Our super bowl bid is headed up by the president of SRP since he knows the municipalities well and he organizes what each city will bring to the table.

Its a highly coordinated effort, primarily between Phoenix, Glendale, and Scottsdale.... I dont think Greenbay will ever host to be honest.

I went to the Super Bowl in Detroit in 2007. It snowed during the week and was cold af and snowy downtown for SB weekend. Some dude got shot on Friday or Saturday night right in the area where all the festivities were being held. The stadium was great and the gameday experience was fine, but leading up to it was crappy. We had a company dinner on Saturday night ($25k surcharge for a relatively small room in the back of a steakhouse, on top of the "normal" charges) and I thought we were gonna get snowed in and not get back to the hotel, but it let up long enough to be drivable. Please keep the SB in warm weather cities!
