Not needed at all. Just need a good QB. Fitz, Floyd and Roberts are more than adequate!

Hopefully other teams spend their time there and we can scoop up some good O-Lineman.

Just imagine Dwayne Bowe out there too........

Fitz and Floyd are the same style of WR, Bowe as well and it would be over kill. Roberts does well enough in the slots but picking up a guy with world class speed late in the draft like Goodwin from UT would help. At the moment, I think they are more than enough as they are and the least of our concerns.

Our we'd are garbage. No separation or speed. We have no real threats on offense outside of a triple teamed fitz.

I dunno.......we thought that before and look where it got us......we need someone to take the pressure off of Fitz and give him some freedom.

A qb who can throw the ball to them might help.

We need a T.Y. Hilton. Or a rejuvenated Mike Wallace.

I think we have a good group, but it's impossible to say if Floyd is the real deal because he didn't get much of a chance to shine this season, but he looked great today. Would still like a true deep threat. Not sure that's Floyd.
What about Bailey from WVU? Probably will go in the first 2 rounds, but he is really good in deep routes and if we were to draft Geno Smith than drafting Bailey could be a great idea especially if he were available in the 3rd round.

I just remember Doucet having that big game and everyone thought he, Fitz and Roberts were fine.......and they weren't. I hope we don't make a similar mistake.

Yup. Cards are fine at WR.

Desperately need a QB and OL and RB and maybe and edge rusher.

I'd put WR WAY down the list.

Fitz had 1,400 yards last season. I doubt defenses treated him any differently this season, we've just had horrendous qb play. I wouldn't mind a pure speed guy but it's really not a huge need IMO. Fitz/Floyd/Roberts will be fine with a capable qb.

How many 20+ yard passes were attempted/completed by the Cards this season? One site keeps stats on that, don't they?

A speed presence at WR has been needed for awhile. I would love Mike Wallace but I can't see the Cards spending any money on the WR position.

A guy who I'd look at in the later rounds of the draft is Denard Robinson for a WR. He's a big play machine and the Cards could use some big play threats.

Not very many, but I blame that on the play calling and execution from the passers, not the receivers. Too many short outs and over/under throws by QBs.

Wideout should (and will) be very low on the priority list this offseason.

Word. I don't want to buy anymore mail boxes when we don't even have a postman or even a good post office.

I'd love to have Robinson here. A player like that brings so much versatility and creativity to an offense. Obviously he's no sure thing, but the guy is an incredible athlete and we've seen other players make the transition from QB to WR successfully.

I'm sold on our WR core. Bringing in Wallace or Bowe would be an incredibly poor distribution of funds. I'd be ok with drafting a speed guy in Round 4 or later.

Also, I'm surprised more people aren't excited about Floyd. I think the guy improved a great deal over the last half of the season. Assuming he still improves, I think he's more than capable of taking the pressure off Fitzgerald.

I don't buy that its all on the QBs. The offensive line couldn't protect them and our WRs couldn't get separation causing our QBs to have to try to force the ball into tight spots or get sacked which was a horrible thing considering our QBs inaccuracy. The Running game was non existent for most of the season. Opponents were getting pressure on our QBs rushing 4 and stopping our run game while dropping 6-7 guys into coverage. Then to make matters worse on the rare occasions our receivers did get open the scatter armed QBs would miss them.

So just getting a competent QB isn't going to completely fix the offense. The line needs to vastly improve and we need at least 1 new RB and maybe two as I don't know that we can rely on Ryan "Red Cross" Williams to play an entire season. William Powell gained 2 yards on 2 carries in the 2nd half!!! In spite of having Floyd and Hoyer connecting on long passes. The Cards also need either another WR or to find a way to get receivers in position to catch a pass without a defender draped all over them.
