Arians should criticize the officials and take it to the extreme

Losing teams complain about officiating
Generally the winning team overlooks the bad officiating because they won :) It would be weird for them to complain about it... especially if it helped them win.

We may not end up winning the game, but the refs certainly deserve to be thrashed for the no call-no reversal on the first TD of the game.
I agree, it's disappointing that it took us almost the entire 1st half to recover mentally from that play. Obviously, it also gave a huge momentum swing & swagger to Carolina that also made it hard for us to overcome.

It would be great if we were mentality tougher... it looked like the refs haymaker took all the fight out of us though until the last 2 minutes of the 1st half.

Sorry but good teams overcome a bad call, especially that early in a game. This team doesn't have the testicular fortitude to overcome calls that go against them. When your Oline gives up 8 sacks to a defense that had a total of 12 going into the game you have bigger problems to worry about than a bad call. This organization needs to pull their collective heads out of their rectal sphincters and start addressing the problems they have in all areas and there are more than enough to address.

It's easy to say good teams overcome bad calls, but it's harder to actually do it. Especially when the bad calls result in such a deflating play that jacks up the other team & gives them all the confidence/momentum.

I'm on the fence about BA going ballistic about the officials because while they sucked big time today BA is always arguing with them and he's not always right. IMO it's a bit like the boy who cried wolf so officials and the League office will turn a deaf ear to his constant complaining.

It can also have the effect of giving the players an excuse for not executing properly. For example the Hump hands to the face was technically a foul because he did let his hands get to high even though he moved them off the helmet quickly. So does Hump think he just had a bad call against him or does he work on not making the same mistake again?

I do agree that every once in awhile to have to kick over the buffet table but if I'm BA I do it with the players and not the Officials.

Arians said the officials on the field told him the replay booth did not see a reason to review the fumble/TD. So a turnover/scoring play that should be automatically reviewed was not reviewed.

Didn't see a reason to review? A borderline non-turnover that immediately leads to a TD? If they don't see a reason to review that, why do we have reviews at all?

Arians has taken to Twitter to blast the officials. Some harsh stuff - Jake Arians, that is.

Really, no point in whining over spilled milk. Move on Arians family.

Ok so a little late to this party was golfing and recorded and just saw game. Wow, my god the officiating was beyond bad and seemed very one sided (not ours obviously). Arians almost HAS to call out this atrociousnous the league is looking very bad here! They didn't see any reason to review a fumble returned for a TD really? This is insanity especially considering it was clearly a forward pass, every turnover automatically reviewed? I guess cardinals supposed Turnovers don't get reviewed? This absolutely set the tone for a what was one of the worst officiating jobs I have EVER seen! What a freaking joke!

A turn over/scoring play is supposed to be an automatic review.
