Arians should criticize the officials and take it to the extreme

Didn't see a reason to review? A borderline non-turnover that immediately leads to a TD? If they don't see a reason to review that, why do we have reviews at all?

They don't have to see a reason every turnover and every scoring play gets reviewed. So if they told him that and didn't review it they broke NFL rules. I'm guessing they reviewed it.

I looked and Jake Arians said the replay guy told BA that they didn't see any resaon to OVERTURN the call not to review it.

So it was reviewed.

Palmer said he could not believe the refs didn't see it as an incomplete pass.

I think the replay official gave them the confirmation. So Walt never goes under the hood. So the replay official said it was not even close to a pass....CRAZY.

It's easy to say good teams overcome bad calls, but it's harder to actually do it. Especially when the bad calls result in such a deflating play that jacks up the other team & gives them all the confidence/momentum.

Excuse. Packers, Seahawks, Pats don't let that crap "deflate" them. Weak sauce.

sorry but this is one time I think I would have REALLY gone off on the refs. I have never seen such a bad call in a long long time.
Had I been coaching this team I would have taken 3 unsportsman like conducts and wouldn't have cared if the Panthers were kicking off from our 30 yard line. Throw in an ejection if need be. THAT would have fired this team up and sent a bit of a mesage to the refs.
Not a bit bothered by the other calls as much except for the "holding" call on Watford.

Hah... Cam Newton complaining about the officiating after the game...

saying the refs didn't give him enough calls & he doesn't feel safe out there & the refs aren't protecting him enough & the game isn't fun for him when he isn't getting protected.

Oh & he's gonna have a talk with Goodell about it.

Can someone explain the illegal formation call that was charged to Veldheer? I still don't understand the reasoning behind that. Agreed Slani, this was ejection-worthy. It might have fired up the team before it was too late. Palmer is a cool customer, and even he lost it

On the one had, we've had extremely bad luck this year....moving the ball well but poor execution, two missed FG costing us wins, this call today.....but after awhile these "reasons" turn to "excuses", as it's hard to keep blaming others when things go wrong.

The officials didn't cost us the game but made sure we didn't get back in the game. The calls on that one drive were insane. Even the announcers were scratching their heads.

The officials could have told BA "go ahead and complain to the league and you will hear the same bull****" to quote him after last week. Clearly they were not going to give him a break. I think they are sick of BA's mouth. Some of the players may be too.

This is also insane. The refs had some bad calls, especially on that drive where we ended up 2nd and 44 yards. I don't think they were targeting us because of a press conference.

No, what's insane is a booth replay official deciding the fumble TD (that should be automatically reviewed) didn't need to be reviewed when everyone else that looks at it says it was a clear incomplete pass. The refs on the field also ignored Arians attempt to call a timeout before the extra point was kicked so there would be more time for the booth to initiate a review. What other explanation can there be on why this happened? They either were sending a message to BA for criticizing officials or the booth review guy is a Panthers fan.

The one that newton was really complaining about should have been called. It was Campbell coming through the line and hit Newton in the legs. At least on that one Campbell was hit and diving through the line to make the tackle. But I mean Carson Palmer had way more reason to complain when one of the Carolina players came around pretty much free on the right end and dove right into Palmer's legs. I think it was at the end of the second half. I know it was way down on the Cardinals end of the field… the first of consecutive sacks.

He seems like a little bitch, right? I mean... whining about the officiating ALL the time. How lame is that?

Not sure about the players, but Arians's behavior towards the officials, both on the field and at the podium, needs to improve. The league won't do him or the team any favors if he keeps running his mouth.

Well ... When he does it... The media and everyone is poor Cam. He is right..... When we do it on a sports board of our favorite team.... We have 35 sofa execs blasting are fandom.....god forbid the refs did it... but I guarantee you this .....the refs could change the outcome of every gsme in the NFL that is with in 14 points at the end. The refs call hands to the face when they want to top a drive....I have on my DVR 6 instances of the cowboys doing it tonight against the eagles....not one call..... holding can be called on every play... games are decided by 1 or 2 plays when good teams play. It's amazing and scary to think how much money could be passed around without anyones knowledge. Games now are turned into if the ref wants to call it against should he call it. I hate Seattle but they have a great point that the saints have had 75 yards of penalties avg every game and are ranked 28th in last 2 years...but they had no holding penalties all day against a relentless front 7.....yet against us ...we had 6..... Oakland had 23 penalties called and they still won....but how? How do you committed that many penalties...unless you just want to call everything....Tampa isn't a great defense ....Washington was called for 15. How does a booth review look at Palmers play with a straight face and say fumble it unless it's fixed...no other explanation....because if you use incompetence then the NFL looks even dumber......the game is turning into wrestling....

To be fair if you take the fumble TD off the board and turn the Olson catch to incomplete it's a tie game and we go for a PAT to win the game instead of 2....the cards suck and need a lot of improving to do but you can make a case where two calls literally cost the cards the game

That's the problem he complains so much and often incorrectly that hes' got the boy who cried wolf thing going and now when he's correct, they don't care
