Only a fool would bet real money on this. There's way too many questions that have nothing to do with the talent on the field. Is Arizona deflated after shooting their wad last week against Oregon? Has ASU packed it in for the season and quit on the coaches?

I honestly have no clue what to expect going into the game, you can make a pretty good case for both teams.

I think Vegas agrees with you thus the 3.5 spread.

That muff wouldn't have even happened if Williams didn't make the catch of the year 2 minutes before. The guy WAS ASU's offense. Without him they lose about 24-7.

To be honest, the Devils really outplayed us in the game, especially in that 2nd half. There was a lot of luck involved on both sides.

As it happens every year, one of or both of the teams show something different. In this game, ASU played much better than their record would indicate. Hats off to Sullivan, who I would never have thought would play that well in the 2nd half.

What a frustrating way to lose. Right after the games over it starts raining in Tempe, at least we know UA winning upset the Gods enough to make them cry :p

I feel bad for Kyle Williams. Pretty hard to be the hero AND the goat at the same time, but he pulled it off. From now on he will be remembered as "the guy that muffed the punt that lost ASU the rivalry game", pretty unfortunate he's had a hell of a career as a Sun Devil.

ASU loses this game going away if not for Kyle Williams, he was money all day finally living up to his tremendous talent. ASU lost because of penalties. Too many thugs and morons on that sideline, but that's to be expected with a Dennis Erickson team.

Yeah well, at least none of your cheerleaders were hurt by thrown objects.

Good one. Hope the thought of that Oregon cheerleader will keep you warm over the long cold offseason that started right.....about......now.

Real nice of Danny Sullivan to turn into Peyton Manning the last half of his last game.

Oh what could have been......LOL

2 game win streak over you guys on each home field.

+1 on the Moral victory for the Devils though. ;)

BEAR DOWN:cats:

Why do I get the feeling AF that if you had been at that game you would have been one of the people throwing stuff.

Wow. Can't believe this game was that close. Thanks for covering the spread mildcats.....

Arizona will get crushed next week by USC and have to beg their way into a third tier bowl again...

Its one thing to have your players be thugs.. And another to have you students support that.. O, you really shouldnt have said that cuz back in the day we threw water bottles on the field at SDS as Cards fans.. Ya know.. But to have players as thugs and catch prison bids and all that.. well....

Because you not only generalize entire fanbases by a couple drunk idiots but also like to make wild assumptions around a couple posts from some random dude on a message board?

Yeah I am going to go with that.

The Wildcats are smelling poinsettias! :D

Seriously this is the best you guys got? Your now cheering for USC and hoping we go to a middle tier bowl game when you guys are stuck at home for the second consecutive year and your "savior" coach can't even put together 10 wins IN TWO SEASONS????

I guess there is not much else to go with for your pathetic athletic department at your point, but you guys are better then this, right?

Right?:D
