This might be too much to ask, but I don't know much about this year's team. Can anyone do a high-level breakdown of the players and why this is considered one of Lloyd's best teams so far at UA?

Boswell was a bust but he had the keys because he was a 5*. Jaden Bradley is a much better fit for this team because he’s a significantly better shooter/defender and is more of an attacking PG.

Ballo put up numbers but was slow and clumsy. Krivas won’t score as much but he’s superior defensively and the offense won’t stall when they swing it to him (currently mocked a 1st rd pick).

Love is Love, KJ Lewis is an elite athlete with high defensive upside and Trey Townsend looks like a solid all around PF.

Depth wise Dell’Orso is a small school transfer that can shoot. Tobe Awaka is a high energy physical rebounding machine that transferred from Tennessee. Carter Bryant is a 4* wing/forward that is likely a two year guy. Martinez and Veesaar are 9th and 10th guys who likely won’t play meaningful minutes unless there’s injury.

Quick answer: there are no sissies on this team and we can go 10 deep if Veesaar can continue to play as well as he has in preseason

Until I see Bradley and krivas produce more than Boswell and ballo color me skeptical.

Kerr, Boswell, Tubelis and even Ballo
If give you Kerr and Boswell. Seemed to shrink in biggest games against top flight athletes. I think tubelis tried hard he was just outclassed by superior athletes. I wouldn’t consider ballo a sissy.

Ballo wasn’t a sissy but he was strictly a P12 center.

Jaden Bradley is going to be Reggie Geary.
