Up to a #4 seed in bracketology, but if we keep going like this, we could easily get to a #2 seed IMO. But likely have to beat Houston and Iowa State again. If we beat both of them AND Kansas in our last game, do we have a shot at #1 in the West?

Well, the air sure went out of that balloon quickly. Losing to an inferior K-State team on the road and then losing at home to Houston will knock the Wildcats down a few notches in the Top 25. They will probably fall in the RPI rankings as well. Darn! At this point, a #4 seed is very optimistic.

Arizona doesn’t have a calling card like Houston does. I’d be thrilled with a 4-seed.

Tommy struggles to close games. Up 9 in a low scoring game and controlling it for 35+ minutes should be an automatic victory. I know it's Houston, but that shouldve been a win with how the game went most of the day.

Regardless of any of that, there is a good reason why Houston is the #6 team in the country and we're not.

Arizona has always been a high-level offensive team under Tommy Lloyd. But this Wildcats team is actually better by the numbers on the defense and it's shown in the Big 12. They guard well on the perimeter and do a nice job in transition. A quality road bounce-back win.

Cant accept that. We're still the #13 team playing at McKale and controlled most of the game. Tommy has to finish them off.

Houston is a terrible matchup with their on-ball pressure vs our guards that struggle to dribble/create. Nice bounce back last night vs Baylor. I’d take 3-2 down the stretch and would feel great about it.
