AZ Cardinals Fan Club Present THEBIGREDARMY Launch

The only AZ Cardinals fan club, THEBIGREDARMY, launches with premiere party at Majerle’s in Chandler

(CHANDLER, Ariz.) – On Saturday, April 25, 2009 the first and only Arizona Cardinals Fan Club will be holding the launch of THEBIGREDARMY at Majerle’s Sports Grill in Chandler from 11 a.m. – 11 p.m. This FREE event includes a Kid Zone with ten inflatable bouncers, 60 tons of snow and other games, along with FREE hamburgers, hot dogs and soda, jumbotrons and a DJ on the stage outside keeping the party rocking all night long, a raffle for sports memorabilia, AZ Cardinals players signing autographs throughout the event and the official unveiling of THEBIGREDARMY logo at 6 p.m.
Guests can receive one free raffle ticket by bringing a new, unwrapped toy to benefit Lizzie's Loot, a non-profit organization that gives stuffed animals to kids in the hospital, or can purchase them for $1 per ticket or $5 for six tickets (winner need not be present). In order to become a member of the Arizona Cardinals Fan Club, guests can also join THEBIGREDARMY that day by paying $15/quarter or for a discounted price of $50/year (normally $60). Membership into the Fan Club includes the following benefits:

  • Membership Card (also used for discounts at sponsor sites)
  • Big Red Army t-shirt
  • Dog tag (Additional dog tag, free engraving April 25 only)
  • Big Red Army lanyard
  • 20% off at THEBIGREDARMY store
  • Monthly Club meetings and get-togethers
  • Draft Day Celebration
  • Free ticket to Annual Banquet ($150 value)
  • Entry into “Party Dome” tailgate, includes free food/drink
  • Annual BIGREDARMY picnic with Cardinals players
“We are thrilled to begin what is sure to be a mainstay in the Arizona Cardinals culture,” said Founder and President Dave Gilmore. “Being the only team in the NFL without a Fan Club, this has been a long time coming and we look forward to appreciating the fans that have supported the Cardinals for so many years.”
Proceeds from the event will also benefit a variety of organizations including all monies being donated to the Bertrand Berry Foundation and Cardinals Charities and all toys going to Lizzie’s Loot, a non-profit organization based out of Tucson for a young girl that was also featured on Extreme Home Makeover: Home Edition, and the reason for which the Red Cross will be at the event taking blood donations.

All of us should be in the BRA (BigRedArmy). There are many "crossover" posters between here and AZCardinals.com, but I noticed the "birds nest" forum there now mentions the Big Red Army on their front page...
"Discuss anything related to the Cardinals that is not about the game. Big Red Army Fan Club, Tailgaiting, pictures, banners, stadium talk, meeting places to watch the away games, road trips, ticket talk etc."

Be there for the unveiling of the BRA on Saturday!!!

Quick note:

If you are planning on comming to the draft party tomorrow please consider bringing a stuffed animal to drop off for Lizzies Loot. Not only is it a great cause but you will get a free raffle ticket for it.

Also, the American Red Cross is going to have one of there mobil donation vans there and if you want to give blood, which is another great cause that saves lives, just remember that you have to donate before you drink any alcohol.

Thanks again,
