Lack of quality depth in the rotation now starting to show. Bummer… but we desperately need at least two more proven starters who can consistently pitch into the 6th inning. Bats are still solid…though Gurriel is scuffling a bit.

Pavin is not contributing enough. Davies is a liability and R. Nelson isn’t much better. D-backs should consider bringing up Lewis or Fletcher to replace Smith. It might be time to give Pfaadt another shot in the rotation. Gotta be hunting a trade for at least one starter and possibly another bullpen arm.
