Yeah, thought the whole "thyroid" thing was odd. Perhaps a little classless?

Don't really get the motive for using it.

IF you want to make a joke about cancer, say something along the lines of "He's gonna beat the Brewers like Thyroid Cancer" that was kind of low

Defense went flat in the 7th inning. This should still be a 3-1 ball game.

Bases full of Diamondbacks with one out, still down a run in the 9th.

I can't believe he did not bat CoJack if he is healthy enough to bat.

The easiest play in all of baseball is with runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs.

All the batter needs to do is hit a routine fly ball out which, in that case, is a sac fly and an RBI. In last night's case, a game-tying RBI in the 9th.

Why in the world was a singles hitter sent up vs. one who can hit that fly ball?

When it drags his team down, Melvin has the whole lineup swinging for the seats.

But when the situation calls for it, he goes the other way.

Bad gut feeling on his part. We'll have to start calling Melvin "Dubya".

I'll admit that that was part of the problem; however, Melvin wasn't in the infield with a glove on yesterday. Some of those throws were just pathetic, especially Reynolds to home for the force out. Without those defensive blunders, we dont need a sac fly to tie/win the game.

You would prefer Jeff Salazar or Alex Romero over the .345 hitting Augie Ojeda with the game on the line? Really?

The Dbacks just had a lead off double by Salazar, and failed to score....

It just sickening, that as soon as he got on 2nd, that there was a VERY good chance we don't score....

And yet AGAIN, Drew singles, Salazar doesn't score and CY grounds into another DP....

Its frightening how bad the Dbacks hitters are right now.... Frightening

nobody can blame melvin for bringing Johnson out there another inning. I feel kinda bad for are pitchers lately not getting any run support.

This offense can't hit on the road. Meanwhile, Quentin hit his 15th homerun tonight.

Rally cap on for the 9th inning. OMG, Fielder just hit a bomb.
