That's probably the most dominant and complete Mantiply has looked all season. He was filthy and locked in.
I really appreciate Torey just not messing around this series. He has absolutely managed to his best players and pitchers.

We'll see if Torey's sudden reawakening to proper in-game management continues today with Montgomery and his 6.23 ERA on the mound. Offense will need to score a ton of runs off Montas and the Brew Crew. DBacks have not clinched a playoff spot yet - so we need Good Torey not Confused Torey.

He will probably need Monty to take one for the team, if he starts to get shelled. The bullpen has had to be used a lot more than planned with earlier than expected exits from Gallen and Kelly.
And that’s one reason why he brought Puk with a 5 run lead - knowing that he absolutely had to win last night given a low probability of a win today.
And winning three out of four in Milwaukee is outstanding
Sweep would be great, but make sure you win the games you have the lead

I'm guessing Ginkel and Puk are both probably not available today. The kid pitched 3 straight games, before having yesterday off...not sure if they'd use him today, or not. So that's 2 and maybe 3 guys not available. Oh, and throw Mantiply in there. He's pitched multiple games and innings, too. So 3, maybe 4 unavailable.

Can Montgomery hold an 8 run lead? We shall see. Long way to go and his ERA is above 6 boyz and girlz.

Braves tied with Marlins in the 7th. DBacks must keep winning. I don't think the bullpen is going to get rested today. Montgomery at 65 pitches in 3 innings.
