When I say cap hell that means the Eagles bank is already broken and needs to be fixed before March 14.

Argument for trade:
!. Eagles are in cap hell. After cutting Torrey Smith for 5 mil, they'll need to find another 10 mil just to stay afloat.
2. 7.6 mil is too much for a back up quarterback.
3. They save far more by trading than by cutting Foles. They'll save 5.2 mil by trading before June 1 and 7 mil after June 1.
4. This year is the only time Foles is worth something to them.
5. Wendtz is ahead of schedule.
6. Did I mention they are in CAP HELL.

These are good reasons not to overpay (picks) for Foles. If they give them the first for him, that's alot, considering what the 9ers pulled off. They should actually get a mid round pick back if they insist on the #1.

And he'll want plenty $$. It'll need to be a sign (extension) and trade if they want him. This gives them more leverage in negotiations for a more team friendly deal then Garrapolo's.

I'd prefer a cheaper Bridge QB and a drafted rookie. Throw the $$ into the OL.
