I have racked my brain and cannot figure out what is going on with him. If it were anyone else, I would wonder if it had anything to do with the 5 yr 32 million dollar extension he signed compared to Greinke making 34 million this year alone. I know he is human, but I don't see Paul letting that get to him. I just don't know.

i suspect he's dealing with some type of injury, but given the nature of this years team he hasn't said anything.

I don't "know" Goldy, however, I did see him speak at my church and, tragically, I did shake his hand...
He does not at all seem like the type to let money get in the way of his approach to the game, or life for that matter...

There has got to be something wrong with him physically. His drop-off, starting post-All Star game last season, is truly epic and historical.

Sigh... no, it isn't. If you took his numbers from just the 2nd half of last year you're still looking at an All-Star type season, just not the massive (and it looks like unsustainable) numbers that he put up in the 1st half of the year. His post all-star game numbers were still better than his career average stats.

No offense, but are you actually watching the games, or just relying on stats? It is so obvious to the naked eye. SMH
