Seriously if ASU plays like they did against CAL and ORE. ASU might get shut out.

But if ASU comes out and plays a perfect game which they havent done yet this year. But if they do they have a shot because USC is playing like DOO-DOO.

IF ASU plays BAD 44 -3 trojans

If ASU plays perfect 24 -21 devils

Is everything
USC is playing like DOO-DOO.

I wouldn't go that far. They haven't been the totally dominant team of the last few years, but they have pretty much controlled every game they have played. Are they vulnerable? Absolutely. Depends a lot on the health (or lack thereof) of those recievers.

They've won twice without their best player against two teams that are going to end up playing bowl games, that's not up to USC's standards but they're certainly not playing bad. ASU hasn't played well since the first half of the USC game last year so combine that with Koetter's record against ranked teams, road games, and California games and you have essentially no chance. But that's why they play the games I guess.

How do you define "controlled"? They were totally dominated by Cal and Oregon on the scoreboard. Not to mention the 142 yards total offense at home versus the Ducks is about as bad as it gets.

The running game looks good but the passing game is as bad as I've ever seen an ASU team and the defensive secondary is looking shockingly bad.

If ASU plays PERFECT, they cover the spread-

USC 19
ASU 0

If ASU plays bad-

USC 72
ASU 0

I'll take Keller back in a heartbeat, let him blow every kilo of coke in this freakin state, over that piece of **** Carpenter. No joke, Jeff Krohn is 10 times better then Carpenter. At least Keller has heart

Hey, why not ASU, and why not this weekend?

...well because Dirk Koetter is a mental migit when it comes to game management and adjustments. Because Carpenter is not very confident. Because the defense couldn't stop a high school team. Because Koetter can't win in California. Because ASU is determined to break my heart again. Because ... its USC.

If ASU really does switch to using the run more, and if ASU doesn't turn the ball over, the Devils can be in this game into the 4th quarter.

Yes, physically they will be there in the 4th quarter... its an obligation mandated by the NCAA.

Can they do it?

Hell no.

Although, if by some miracle ASU won this game, where would they stand in the rankings? They've already blown 2 games, but beating the #3 team has to help.

Yeah, if only they didn't get blown out too bad. If they somehow win this I think they'll be somewhere in the rankings, not top 20. If they somehow blow USC out I can see a #18-20 ranking unless the voters are very generous.

GAME ON! Finally, an ASU game in HD! Or maybe that is not such a bad thing. At least I don't have to listen to Fouts or that Greek dude that annoys the crap out of me. Although, I think I just get irritable when the Devils lose, which is far too often. For like 3 years, it has been a pet peeve of mine that the ASU v UofA game hasn't been in HD.

On second thought, I don't need to see this in HD, time to drink myself into oblivion. :bang:
I didn't expect the Devils to win today, but is it too much to ask to actually be competitive? For God's sake, this year has been horrible, there are some talented players on the team but as a whole they just seem to collectively suck. Props to Sam Keller for getting the hell out.
