I agree. It's the story of the last five years, but it's just been heartbreaking over the last two years. Of course the real problem tonight was the offensive line. Sure, they may be healthy this year, but they really have not done a good job of opening up the running game and tonight they could not protect Oz. The Big Ten officials certainly did not help matters. I mean perhaps somebody can explain how they can make that pass interference call on Illinois last scoring drive but on our final drive and a long pass down the middle of the field the defender runs right through Robinson without ever turning around to look for the ball with no flag. Nevertheless ASU should have been able to beat that team despite the officiating.

I didn't think they deserved to be ranked after the Missouri game, but I was hoping they could prove me wrong.

Hopefully they can bounce back next week.

I think you were calling for Coaches head, I watched the game and we could have done better, yes, however at every crucial point it seem there was a gratuitous call going the big ten teams way. again, "Just Saying"

that's true, and I've certainly done my fair share of griping about the officials today, but I will guarantee that I could go back and watch that fourth-quarter again and find 10 obvious holds by the ASU O-line that never got called. They were getting beaten by the speed of the Illinois D-line all evening.

Uh no, ASU's offense was a mess all night and the offensive playcalling by Mazzone was a joke. ASU lost that game, not the refs.
