Arizona Team Ownership an Embarrassment to Sports (please keep away if offended)

Where is Jerry Colangelo when you need him? He brought the fans of Arizona a CHAMPIONSHIP faster than any other franchise in baseball. He is the only owner that this state has ever had that has shown me a desire to be a champion. The Bidwills are great people. I'm not attacking their character. I would love to meet them, hang out and talk football. Their passion doesn't show. There is no excuse for being here 25 years with just two division titles. After they received the new stadium, they should have shown more. They are not winners. Period. Our recent coaching debacle is classic Same 'Ol Cardinals mentality.

Robert Sarver. Where do I begin with this guy? He trades players for cash. Trades guys like Rondo, Dang, Amare, Robinson and lets good players walk. He makes poor draft picks. He makes some very questionable moves and I don't think anyone roots for him. I haven't met anyone anyways that does. There is even a FB page called Robert Sarver Please Stop Destroying the Phoenix Suns that I am a part of.

Ken Kendrick. He continually bashes his players. Traded away Bauer. Traded away Drew. On edge with Upton. I don't disagree that trading those guys is bad but for crumbs? They do not spend money. They sign guys like Eric Chavez and give him 3 mil. Of all of our teams, this team has the best shot of becoming a contender. They do have a good farm system.

The Coyotes. I can't even tell you who the owner is. The NHL owns them. Their previous owner lost out on so much cash that he had to declare bankruptcy. This team was barely hanging on for dear life and was nearly sent packing. They have a solid team. They also have a good shot to win.

Overall, the citizens of Arizona deserve better. I hate our state just being labeled as a retirement state. Arizona is a great state. Born and raised here. I have EVERY RIGHT to state my opinion and facts. Most fans who attack me are not even from Arizona. Call me a troller, a negative nelly, I don't care. Call me an *******, a jerk, I don't care. I love my homestate and I'm not happy about my teams' direction. I will always root for my home teams but I will also tell it like it is. Is it ever going to change? I sure hope so. How much of it is really our fault? Doesn't it start at the top? Are the fans totally to blame?

Whoa buddy, that whole you have to be from Arizona crap to speak out against you is bunk and I hope you understand that. And how did the great AZ. fans thank Colangelo? By staying away from the stadium in droves the very next year after winning the World Series. JC went broke getting that Worlds Series title and put his whole soul and heart into it. The fans were not kind to him.

Nice try, moved to Portland 4 month ago after living most of my life in Phoenix. My son and wife were both born in AZ. Had season tickets too.

You have no idea what you are talking about. Jerry C leveraged the future of the organization, we had a great run, that is also why we don't have a winning baseball team.

FYI - JC was the one who traded away the Bulls pick for Dang. Rondo was a late round pick, just like ... Dragic who was traded by San Antonio.

Kendrick - Drew is done his ankle and ego will never be repaired. Upton still is under performing and if you could have got that deal it would have been a great trade for both.. now maybe not so much.

The point is that JC made necessary sacrifices to have a good shot at winning it all. Not a sure fire title but for a CHANCE to win it all. We won it all. He said that it would take eight years to rebound financially from that run before the 01' season even started. It wasn't a surprise that we were financially screwed. In the end, we won a title and that's all that matters.

Bryan Colangelo sucks just look at the Raptors. He was the one deciding to trade the #7 pick to the Bulls so they could sign Q-Richardson which snowballed to all the other bad trades that were a result of Qs contract.

Mike D'antoni is responsible for Rondo.
