Yes, our fan base is better to talk with than with your typical Cowboy fan because that is one of a myriad of reasons we HATE the Cowboys. A bunch of stupid arrogant fans whose team owns the media attention no matter how they play. A team that for a long stretch always seemed to get the benefit of doubt on call after call. A owner that makes one want to vomit... Lorenzo it is ok, become a Cardinal fan because that is what keeps drawing you back to this forum and leave the evil of the Cowboys behind :D

I wish I could give up the cowboys but I just can't. My four years in Arizona really made me respect the fans there especially the cards and suns in spite of being from Dallas and I always pull for them when my team is not involved. I know the modern day cowboys are embarrassing and yes they are annoying. If I wernt from Dallas I would absolutely hate them more than anyone else. Especially jerry.

FWIW Lorenzo, I hate most Cowboy fans especially the ones on the internet, but you're A-ok in my book.

Good luck next week bro.

Thanks Bert! I love your pic. For what it's worth I think y'all will win and I can't see myself changing that opinion. Yes Dallas has improved this year and tonight Washington did have some underdog magic with this rivalry. But they exposed romo and he/play caller seemed to revert to gun sling mode rather than sticking with the run which is their strength. They were at their best when weeden came in and they ran it and got the ball out quick. Also Dallas has a turnover problem every game that somehow gets overlooked. and at the very best an average defense. To me these things make me doubt the cowboys being a real threat.

We can't underestimate them. That was a divisional game. Same as us playing the Rams and losing last year or any divisional game. They are an exceptional team. We have to stay focused and win.

We'll have to be the first team to hold Murray under 100 yards to have a good chance. That's not going to be easy, for sure.

The Cowboys should study the Eagles OL to see how to handle our blitz. I think a lot will depend on Romo's mobility and how limited he is. He's pretty elusive for a QB.

Btw how dumb was their play calling? First play in OT Murray runs for 8 and they pass on the next three...

That has been a staple in their playbook for at least 5 years now. It's a series of plays I started to think they scrapped in this win streak but they brought it back tonight.

This thread is starting to terrify me. Maybe we have been the underdog so long I dont know how to just be confident that this team is good, but I feel like there is some seriously bad mojo being invoked against us right now with every post someone makes about how we're gonna beat Dallas... lol

Lets all agree to just be nervous, unsure but hopeful like always! THE SYSTEM WORKS!!! KW :p

I agree with you their play calling in OT did not make sense. But I also thought the Redskins (Yes I still call them that) defense had a great strategy in that game by blitizing a lot. With Romo somewhat limited in movement made a lot of sense. Why the Cowboys did not stick with Weeden who guided them to 10 points while in there was mind boggling.

Oh well. Cannot lie though that I loved seeing the Cowboys lose.

Dallas is going to kick our ass...Murray is going to run for a thousand yards and Romo is going to throw for two thousand more...their punter will run it in for a TD and a cheerleader will kick the extra point...it will me the mother of all Texas ass-whippin's.

There that should handle the karma-thing.

The blitz can unnerve Romo. Problem is, our blitzes aren't getting home. We have to figure out a way to get tot he QB sooner or he will pick us apart.

This was buried in an ESPN article about Romo's back:

http://espn.go.com/dallas/nfl/story...allas-cowboys-leaves-game-washington-redskins

Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said after the game that Cowboys linebacker Justin Durant suffered a torn right biceps during the game and is out for the season.

"It hasn't sunk in yet," said Durant, who had stepped up as a leader for the defense.

The loss of Durant, a captain, is a major blow to a defense that has far exceeded expectations after allowing the most yards in the league last season.

Left guard Ronald Leary suffered a strained groin and did not play in overtime. Leary said he would undergo an MRI on Tuesday to determine the severity of the strain but hoped to be able to play Sunday against Arizona.

These could be just as significant injuries for them as PP21 and Jefferson are for us.

Vegas odds have the Cowboys around 4 point favorites at home. Cowboys have a short week and Romo suffered a back contusion yesterday. Cardinals have a chance to at least preserve a two-game lead in the division with a win (I expect Seattle to beat Oakland; SF has the Rams at home). They'll be ready to play.

Hey! LorenzoTexan...

Good to hear from you and hope you're doing well. This Sunday's game against Dallas is pretty special to me, as well. Having become a Card's fan in 67', and playing in the NFC East, I have dealt with a lot of emotional disappointment over the years directly caused by the Giants (grew up in CT.) Eagles, Redskins, and the Cowboys.

This Sunday the Cards go for a SWEEP...already having beaten New York, Washington, and just recently, Philly.

...and I would greatly savor such an accomplishment! :)

Take Care, bud. :)

I agree the redskins had romo off his game from the start. And they deserve to win no doubt. He honestly could have Been benched for play alone if you ask me but they don't do that because of his paycheck. I have a feeling romo audibles out of run plays getting too greedy and it bites them just as much as it works in their favor.

Hmmm to me that's off. At best I'd say this should be even (for Dallas). If it were in AZ I'd give the cards 6.

Yeah!!! For now!

He had a bad game. If he's healthy i want him out there. I don't think people can just assume weeden would have won that game although he looked ok.

Jerry Jones can try and spin it anyway he wants, and the protective side of the media can attempt to put a cloak on it but to me it sure looked like the doctor on the sideline was dead against him going back into the game. Then you have the freaking manipulative owner Jerry talking to his head coach on the sideline while he is attempting to coach to probably override the doctors opinion and put Romo back in. This team has no leadership because Jones overrides decisions and creates doubt at so many levels. I think Dallas will come out strong against the Cardinals after this Redskin game but just one hit from the Cards to answer it and this Cowboy team will fold. Jones has a way of fragmenting everything about this team and it kills their ability to react or be sure of anything. The Cardinals are a totally different team in this aspect and always know where they stand as a whole towards the objective of winning
