After that winning FG by NE, Eli had the same look on his face as he did when the Chargers drafted him.

Just remarkable. Collins drops a pick that wins the game for the GIants.

Then on the last completion they gave Amendola a full yard on the spot and the winning FG just barely stays in, another yard you wonder if it hits the goalpost.
It seems to me that when a team drops a game winning pick they frequently lose. That's just an impression I have.

especially against HOF QBs. Can't give those type of guys second chances at the end of games.

and they call no TD because he didn't become a runner? wtf, left foot hit before the ball was jarred loose, he's in the endzone with both feet down why does he have to become a runner.

I hate that rule.

Then next play Manning misses Beckham completely uncovered for a TD and throws to a double covered guy instead incomplete

Yea, this was a horrible reversal. They got it right on the field.
Even if he only has it for a second, two feet down with control is a TD.

Just horrible clock management by the Giants they could have burned so much of the clock off and didn't! They deserved to lose the way it was handled.

It was a TD IMO such a stupid rule but yet a QB or RB can simply break the plane and fumble it without reprocussion. Just silly IMO it was both feet down possession then knocked lose like a fumble but clear control and both feet in.

Should have been a TD. WR had 2 feet in and control of the ball before it was knocked out. Really don't like this rule. If he was on the edge of the endzone and was going out of bounds it would have counted.

Manning 5-20 35 yards, 4 Int. QB rating of 0.0

Kubiak forcing Manning into the WCO offense on what is obviously turning out to be his final season will go down as a reputation tarnishing move of a no brainer first ballot HOFer. He should be drawn and quartered for not tailoring his O to Manning's needs. STUPID STUPID STUPID.

Manning probably should have hung em up last year, too. But this is mainly on Kubiak, IMO.

The way they call it now it's not.

To take it to the absurd, if he catches the ball and stands motionless in the endzone for 10 seconds, the defender then comes up and knocks the ball out, is that a TD? He stood there so no football move, didn't become a runner etc.

From how they call it now that's not a catch either even if he stands there for an hour.

I hate it when we play after most teams and many of the earlier games have gone the way we would want them to go...in order to help us down the road. I don't really hate it, but it adds so much pressure and makes the letdown so much worse if we cannot win our game.

Today:

Rams lost
Niners on a bye
Packers lost - Vikings in 1st
Saints lost
Cowboys lost
Eagles lost
Giants lost - NFC East is a mess - Giants in 1st at 5-5

Now let's see what we can do...

Go Cardinals !!!

That is why the "didn't have time to become a runner" excuse is bogus. He doesn't have to become a runner to catch a TD pass.

I chalk this up as just another Ed Hochuli moment.

Wasn't sure where to put this, but just saw on ESPN: Jeff Fisher has benched Nick Foles.

yesterday was a pretty epic day of football. The end of the Lions-GB game was pretty nuts. Brady leads another last second drive against his Super Bowl nemesis and then an absolute barn-burner to end the night, complete with the greatest victory dance of all time courtesy of Stanton.

I kind of wish the Cowboys had won. Wish they were a bit more in the hunt so they have more to play for when they host Carolina with Romo under center.

Yuck

It's still a Thanksgiving game AND because that division sucks they're still a shred of hope down 3 games with 7 left. They'll bring it for that game.

Don't forget the crazy Ravens - Jaguars ending (which the NFL has since acknowledged they botched - Jags should've had a 10-second runoff and the game should've been over!), and the Eagles shooting themselves in the foot about a dozen times to lose by 1 to the Dolphins! (Wish we could've been watching that with our favorite Eagles fan....)
