I liked the pilot a lot.

It was rather meh for me. I almost turned it off after six minutes--seriously, you're stranded on a deserted island for five years, and you've turned into a physical freak? You'd be emaciated and weak, if anything--but I managed to make it through the pilot. I'm mildly curious about the plot presented, though, so I'll give it at least another episode. And no, this wasn't really a spoiler.

Well, one episode in, I like it quite a bit. For the long run it will probably depend on which version of Oliver Queen/Green Arrow he becomes. It was never my favorite story but I read a lot of GA in the 60's and 70's and a few of his later incarnations too. Since it's CW I expect it will be pretty clear-cut hero stuff which works for me.

I really like the show. This version of the Arrow is light years better versus the Smallville version. I know he was just a secondary character but this is much better just the same.

Well, Chuck Noland only got ice skates, video tapes, a volleyball, and the body of one of the dead crewmen(who, for some reason, Chuck didn't feel the need to take the man's clothes. Yes I realize that might be bad form but you're on an island with nothing but the clothes on your back. Another set of duds might have helped a lot).

The wait is now over as The CW (via EW) has revealed our first official look at Roy for the third season and he's in full on Arsenal mode! Though he first appeared as "Speedy" in the source material, Harper took on the mantel of Arsenal during his Teen Titan years and later reemerged as the Red Arrow.

As excited as Liam Neeson was about the idea, it appears that he will not be reprising his role as Ra's al Ghul on the upcoming third season of Arrow, but now we do know the name of the actor who will actually be taking on the part. It has been officially revealed today that Riddick's Matt Nable, the Rugby player-turned-actor seen above, has been selected to play one of DC Comics' most iconic villains.

The Arrow is going to meet No. 1 fan. The CW series is adding Carrie Cutter (a.k.a. Cupid) to season three and EW can exclusively report that Supernatural alum Amy Gumenick has been cast in the role. As in the comics, Cupid will be a lethal villainness with a dangerously obsessive crush on The Arrow.
