What a ****!!! The 9'ers had the same amount of penalties with more yards. I do agree we need to beat the Giants and/or Eagles though before anyone crowns our ass!!!

Yawn. They rip us when we lose, they rip us when we win.

True.

The Cards have been getting grief about last night's game; however, the team hung with the Panthers and beat the Cowboys before they imploded and no one seems to mention that. Yes, last night's game was not pretty at all, but a win is a win. I'm cool with that.

I was fine with the article till I read this:

"Given that no one else in the NFC West has more than two wins, the Cardinals could probably make the playoffs with a 7-9 record. So let’s not make too much — come to think of it, let’s not make anything at all — of winning the division."

WOW! I don't remember anyone saying that about the Seahawks over the last 5 years.

Totally uncalled for.

I'm sure they said the same thing when Cleveland beat the Giants 35-14 on National TV?

what a ******!

write about the game not a sodding history lesson. Could so easliy have written about shedding a losing image or 7-0 at home, but who outside AZ wants to read that....people like the same old cards line, saves them having to think and write a real article and put some thought into it.

not saying we are an amazing team or anything but credit where its due, we have beaten some good teams this year and a few bads ones too. Miami are getting bigged up and we spanked them........screw them and keep winning.

Or how about the fact the Bengals took the Giants into overtime.

Lets face it. There is a perception about this franchise that just isn't going to go away any time soon. Not that I care. We know this team better than just about ANY reporter on tv or radio.

I respect more of what is stated on this forum than any ,talk show, sports show , newspaper , or onternet blog.

Bottom line. We are 6-3 and have a 4 game lead in our division. Everyone else can like it or lump it.

I knew we were in trouble in every "analyst" on MNF picked the Cards to win.

Those slobs need to pay attention. How many Super Bowl teams have come to town and looked unimpressive when they played the Cards. I remember not being impressed by the Ravens in 2000 and thinking the Panthers were unimpressive the year they went to the Super Bowl. It's the NFL, children, most games are decided like this.

I could really care less about what the national media thinks. Screm them!!! Cards are 6-3 and have the highest scoring offense in the league, thus far. Did the defense play great? No, but they stopped them when it mattered.

God, I hate articles like that. No one cares that the Cardinals haven't won a playoff game in X number of years. How many Cardinals were even alive in the 1970s? What the 70s, 80s Cardinals did is *absolutely* irrelevant to today's Cardinals.

"let’s see this most star-crossed of franchises beat a couple of elite teams."

Buffalo and Dallas aren't good enough for him? How about the fact that Buffalo was leading the AFC East at the time? Or that Dallas was considered a leading Super Bowl contender at the time?

Cumulative record of the Opponents of the "Elite" New York Giants:

32-49 (31-41 when not facing the Giants)

Cumulative record of the Opponents of the lucky-to-have-a-winning record Arizona Cardinals:

40-41 (37-35 when not facing the Cardinals)

Some allowance should be made to the fact that this was a division game. They are going to go like that sometimes. I certainly haven't heard amy of us crowing as if we're booking plans for Tampa. Imbeciles just need something to write about.
